Peacehead one and only gig 1993

Chris B (FLSDT) & Chris S (SORP) of the W.H.O played bass and guitar and I was on the Drums. A one off band and gig, there have been a few of them, we had more fun rehearsing in the squat I was living in on Wickham Lane than playing that gig. It was Chris B’s first gig on the bass and he got a little nervous and his fingers turned to jelly during the set. Chris S and I spent the whole set looking at each other with a “what the fuck do we do now!” kind of expression. The gig was in the, now gone, Thames Poly Top Bar, one of the most depraved student bars in the world (more on the top bar later). With in a few weeks of the gig me and Chris S had moved to Bristol and that’s why it sticks in the mind.
